Vehicle classes are used to categorize vehicles based on their design, intended use, and technical characteristics. They form the basis for legal requirements, registrations, and technical specifications. Different classifications exist depending on the region and regulatory framework. In Europe, for example, many vehicles are classified according to the European Union’s vehicle classes, such as the M, N, O, or T classes.

Vehicle lighting comprises the lighting systems of a vehicle that serve to illuminate the road and ensure visibility and signalling to other road users.

These include headlamps and lights with various lighting functions. Some enable the driver to see the road and their surroundings. Others make the vehicle, its position or specific driving manoeuvres visible to other road users.

VESA describes an industry standard for mountings. It consists of four holes arranged in a square pattern with specified spacing. For our products, these are either 75 mm (VESA75) or 100 mm (VESA100). It is mainly found on monitors, industrial PCs and comparable products.
