Trapezoid beam
The trapezoid beam is a beam pattern for work lights, designed to provide wide-area illumination of the immediate working area around a vehicle or machine.
Typical applications include areas directly in front of, beside or behind a vehicle, as well as working areas on industrial trucks, construction machinery and agricultural machinery.
Lighting for the immediate working area
With a Trapezoid beam, the light is distributed widely so that as large an area as possible within a short distance of the light is covered. A long range is not the primary consideration here.
The quality of the Trapezoid beam cannot therefore be assessed solely on the basis of the luminous flux in lumens. The decisive factor is how the luminous flux is distributed within the intended working area.

Distinction from other beam patterns
Compared to flood, the focus is more on the immediate surroundings of the vehicle or machine. A spot, on the other hand, concentrates the light more intensely and is designed for a greater range.
