What are work lights?

Work lights are used for the general illumination of a work area. They are used, for example, as interior, cab or machine lighting.

Unlike work lights, the primary purpose of a work light is not the targeted creation of a specific beam pattern. Rather, the light is emitted to generally illuminate the immediate surroundings.

The distinction is therefore not based on the fact that a work light generally produces less luminous flux than a work spotlight. The decisive factor is the way in which the light is utilised and distributed for the respective application.
