EcoVadis

EcoVadis is an international platform for assessing sustainability and ESG criteria in companies. It is used to evaluate the sustainability performance of suppliers and business partners in a comparable manner.

The assessment covers areas such as the environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Companies submit supporting documentation such as policies, certificates, or process documentation for this purpose.

The result is presented as a score and, where applicable, additional awards. Many companies use EcoVadis as part of supplier evaluations or to meet ESG requirements.

EcoVadis is not an ISO standard and is not a legal certification. However, the platform has established itself as an important standard for sustainability assessments, particularly in the international B2B environment.
